Tunic Dress

This pattern is from the 02/2018 Burda Style Magazine. It was so difficult to understand and follow the instructions, but I managed to finish it. It took me 3 weeks!! It was so worth it! The fit is amazing, so comfy. It has side and front pockets. The fabric I chose is still good for the breezy Spring days as well as hot Summer days, and even for the cool days of Fall. Can't wait to wear it with tights and/or knee high boots.

I used denim color cotton. The fabric is from Joann, it has gold colored arrows going up and down. I thought it was perfect for this tunic dress. This is my October #burdachallenge2018 project. Or should I say Sept/October?! The pattern is referenced here.

I'm wearing a dog pin that belongs to my mother, well now it belongs to me. She bought this pin in 1967. I remember her wearing it when I was little, since then I love it. I used to think it was a lion (well, my mom too). We realized it is actually a dog. I told my mother, if you are going to leave me anything, please give me the "lion pin". When I check my mailbox in the morning and opened a box expecting something else... there was the "lion". I was so excited!! Perfect timing because I was going to wear this tunic that day.
