Lodo Dress Obsession
Hi you all, it's been a while!! Happy New Year!! I've been busy, sick and traveling, but now I am back to business. Back in December I found this amazing dress, the Lodo dress from True/Bias. I was checking Instagram and there it was. I've been looking for a pattern like this since forever. It is so easy to make. So easy that I made three dresses and a blouse in a weekend. True/Bias even has a sew along. I will definitely make more of these! Enough talking and let's see pictures.

I used jersey fabric I got from my dear friend Carla Queneville from Cville Dress Company. They don't necessary sell fabric, but I was an exception. I decided to embroider flowers and add oversized pockets! I top stitched the pockets leaving the raw edges to look more edgy. The embroidery designs are from MomoDini, the Chrysanthemum Collection. I wanted to do embroider monochromatic flowers, but I messed up in changing the threads. I have a Husqvarna Viking Diamond Royale sewing/embroidery machine which has one needle. I guess you understand now haha. For the hem, I used the 1 inch Scallop Ruler by Quick Points Rulers. I was dyeing to try this ruler.
