Floral Shirt Dress

This is a dress from the 09/2018 Burda Style Magazine. It was so much fun to make. I used cotton/stretch fabric from Mood. It has pleats and gathers on the skirt. And like all my creations, I added pockets.

Here, accessorized with an elastic belt with a big grey flower.

Back view. Look at those pleats. I had to modify the pattern because the pleats were too tight on my hips and the dress looked funky. I remove some of the pleats and gather on the sides instead.

Up close and personal bodice look. I used snaps. I love snaps, I think from now on I will use snaps on everything.

Here, I accessorized it with a leather belt. My favorite belt of all times. I got in Banana Republic ages ago.
