This coat was the result of the latest sew along from Burda Style Academy – Sew-Along: Coat Couture. Yes, it has like a million pattern pieces, but they are so easy to sew. It takes longer to cut than to sew. The fabric is from Mood Fabrics NY (you have to call them to order this fabric, it is exclusive of the NY store, it is not in the website). This pattern is from the 02/2018 Burda Style Magazine. It was so difficult to understand and follow the instructions, but I managed to finish it. It took me 3 weeks!! It was so worth it! The fit is amazing, so comfy. It has side and front pockets. The fabric I chose is still good for the breezy Spring days as well as hot Summer days, and even for the cool days of Fall. Can't wait to wear it with tights and/or knee high boots. I used denim color cotton. The fabric is from Joan
